Terms of Service
These draft terms explain the rules for using MapYourTrade, a trading journal and analytics tool. Please review them before using the service.
Draft for Slovenia and EU users · Last updated 25 October 2026
01Who operates the service
MapYourTrade is operated by [YOUR LEGAL NAME OR REGISTERED BUSINESS NAME], located at [POSTAL ADDRESS IN SLOVENIA] (the “Operator”, “we”, “us”). Contact: [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL].
02Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account or using MapYourTrade, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement. The service is not intended for children; do not create an account if you are below the age required by applicable law.
03What the service does
MapYourTrade provides tools to import trading history reports, organize personal trade journal entries, calculate analytics from supplied trade data, and optionally share a profile using a private link. Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every report format will be parsed correctly.
04Not investment, tax, or legal advice
MapYourTrade is an informational record-keeping and analytics tool only. It is not a broker, investment adviser, portfolio manager, trading venue, or financial promotion. Statistics and historical results are not recommendations, predictions, or guarantees of future performance. You are solely responsible for trading decisions, risk management, and obtaining independent professional advice. Trading can result in substantial losses, including loss of capital.
05Your account and security
- Provide accurate account information and keep your password and sign-in access secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account. Contact us promptly at [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL] if you suspect unauthorized access.
- We may suspend access if reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or comply with law; where appropriate, we will explain the reason.
06Your uploads and content
You retain rights to reports, trade records, notes, images, and other material you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, process, display, and back up that material only as needed to provide and secure the service. You must have the rights and authority to upload it. Do not upload content that is unlawful or infringes another person’s rights.
07Profile and trade sharing
Public profile sharing is optional and disabled unless you enable it. Anyone with your unlisted share link may view the profile information and, if you enable trade sharing, the performance summary and limited recent trade details you selected. A link is not a password substitute: do not post it publicly if you want access to remain limited. You can disable sharing or regenerate the link in your profile settings. Journal notes, email addresses, and ticket identifiers are not intended to appear on the shared page.
08Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access, disrupt the service, upload malware, or interfere with other users.
- Do not use the service in violation of applicable law or third-party platform terms.
- Do not misrepresent analytics or use the service to provide regulated financial services without required authorization.
09Third-party services and calendar data
The service may rely on infrastructure providers and link to third-party websites, including Forex Factory calendar data. Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Event times and data may be delayed, incomplete, approximate, or changed by the source. We do not control or guarantee third-party services.
10Termination and deletion
You may stop using the service at any time. To request account closure and deletion, contact [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL]. We may retain limited information where required by law, to resolve disputes, or protect the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material violations, subject to applicable law.
11Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory rights under Slovenian or EU law. Subject to that rule, we are not responsible for indirect losses arising from reliance on analytics, third-party calendar data, or trading decisions.
12Changes and governing law
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version and revise the date; where law requires, we will give additional notice or request renewed consent. These terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia, without limiting mandatory consumer protections available in your country of residence. Courts with jurisdiction will be determined under applicable law.
